BELLEVUE, WA – The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms has announced the winner of its prestigious “Grassroots Organization of the Year” award is the D.C. Project.
“The DC Project has become a credible grassroots endeavor that puts women in the forefront of the Second Amendment movement,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “Each year, this organization grows its base and expands its influence, providing leadership and a common sense approach to an often perplex issue, reminding government and the media in the process that Second Amendment rights belong to everyone, and that these rights are not subject to negotiation.”
“This is awesome,” said D.C. Project founder Dianna Muller. “On behalf of all our members, I really appreciate this. This really does add fuel to our fire to keep doing this. Nationally, we’re becoming a counter voice to Moms Demand Action, which has been unchallenged since they came into existence. We’re showing they don’t speak for everyone. There are a lot of people who need to understand there is another narrative.”
Muller said the D.C. Project provides facts about how the Left wants to defund police, take away firearms and basically leave people defenseless. Their motto is simple: “Education Not Legislation.”
Each year, the DC Project brings women from all 50 states to the nation’s capital, where they meet with members of Congress and their staffs, and other officials. As noted on their website, the DC Project raises awareness that firearms safety and violence prevention are achieved through education, not legislation; encourages the preservation of America’s gun culture; and highlights the diversity and rising demographic of female gun owners through ongoing advocacy because gun rights are women’s rights.
“We are proud of the grassroots effort displayed by the D.C. Project year after year,” Gottlieb observed. “Through their perseverance and dedication to the Second Amendment, this organization will continue making progress, not just in Washington, D.C. but at the state level as well. We are faced with a hostile administration and a biased media, but I think the D.C. Project is shifting the narrative.”hardcore porno
