BELLEVUE, WA – The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is delighted to welcome the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus as our newest affiliate in the North Star State, and just in time to celebrate the full transition of the Minnesota Gun Owners Law Center, which is scheduled to be fully effective by Nov. 1.
Rob Doar, co-founder of the Caucus, will be president of the new law center, according to an announcement from the group.
“With gun rights being under direct attack by Gov. Tim Walz and anti-gunners in the Legislature,” noted CCRKBA Managing Director Andrew Gottlieb, “this is a strategic time for the Citizens Committee and the Gun Owners Caucus to be joining forces. We’ve been watching the events unfold in Minnesota over the past few months. It is clear that gun prohibitionists are relentless in their effort to erode the rights of law-abiding citizens by exploiting the actions of criminals and crazy people.
“We’re looking forward to working with Bryan Strawser, who chairs the Caucus, and his organization as this battle continues,” Gottlieb stated. “His organization has been doing a remarkable job on behalf of all Minnesota gun owners, and we’re enthusiastic about having them aboard as an affiliate organization.”
The Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus has been “a busy bunch,” Gottlieb observed, pointing to a long list of the group’s accomplishments listed on their website. They have won in court on behalf of young adults, they’ve stopped anti-gun legislation, they were instrumental in expanding concealed carry reciprocity with other states, and they are known as a major force for gun rights at the state capitol.
“We think the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus has a bright future, and we can’t wait to see what comes next,” Gottlieb said.
