BELLEVUE, WA – The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today welcomed Sig Sauer, the world-famous firearms manufacturer, as a “Major” level corporate sponsor.
According to CCRKBA Managing Director Andrew Gottlieb, sponsorship levels are named after ranks in the Continental Army: Captain, Major, Colonel, and Brigadier General.
“We just launched the corporate sponsorship project for the Citizens Committee,” Gottlieb said, “and Sig Sauer was quick to come aboard. “We’re proud to have this level of support from one of the most recognized brands in the firearms industry, and we are looking forward to ramping up our grassroots efforts with Sig Sauer at our side.”
“While there has been great success lately regarding litigation,” he continued, “we also need to strengthen the Second Amendment from a grassroots lobbying standpoint so that litigation isn’t our only option. Industry partnerships like this one are vital to ensure that every American’s Second Amendment rights continue to be protected.”
“CCRKBA has been around for a long time, but awareness is low regarding its efforts to monitor legislation, conduct grassroots events and build relationships with state Second Amendment groups,” said Tom Taylor, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales at Sig Sauer. “We are very proud to support CCRKBA and its primary mission to help all Americans understand the importance of the Second Amendment and its role in keeping Americans free.”
CCRKBA is raising its profile as one of the nation’s premier grassroots organizations. For more than 50 years, the organization has worked with various grassroots groups and now has affiliates in nearly all of the states. In addition to grassroots activities, CCRKBA has also been involved in litigation, joining lawsuits in California, Maryland and Washington, for example.
